Followup: The Bingaman Amendment

When you're calling your senators regarding habeas corpus, be sure to have them vote for Jeff Bingaman's S. AMDT 2517 to bill S. 1042. There's a series on Obsidian Wings, and a story on it at the New York Times.

Read up on it for yourself, but it looks like AMDT 2517 will delete the suspension of habeas corpus from Graham's amendment. Works for me, and that would be what I'm asking Senators Boxer and Feinstein to vote for.
