The Pot, Giving Up on the Kettle, Turns its Attention to the Refrigerator
Just when you think they couldn't get any more brazen, here's Cheney with the latest charge against Iraq war critics: irresponsibility. And lying:
From Drudge, Cheney said:
yet in Washington you can ordinarily rely on some basic measure of truthfulness and good faith in the conduct of political debate. But in the last several weeks we have seen a wild departure from that tradition.
Now this is almost true. All you need is an editor to replace "several weeks" with "five years" and you have the perfect example of why the Republicans are pissing me off.
No, I didn't link to Drudge. Even though I'll link to terrorist sympathizers, I do have some standards.
As far as lying and irresponsibility, let's see if this sounds familiar, Mr. Cheney:
[W]e do know, with absolute certainty, that he is using his procurement system to acquire the equipment he needs in order to enrich uranium to build a nuclear weapon.
Saddam Hussein had an established relationship with al Qaeda.
[W]e believe he has, in fact, reconstituted nuclear weapons.
Tossed in a little emphasis to dodge the "misled" defense. From this pdf. I turn your attention to page 26, although all of it makes fine reading.
Unless, of course, you'd rather spew Republican talking points than learn what's been done in your name.

These guys sound more idiotic every time they try to cover up the past and justify their crap :D
I like the emphasis you added on the last quote.
