Those wacky conspiracy theories keep coming.

Here's a quote from Ms. Giuliana Sgrena regarding her recent ordeal as a hostage in Iraq:

And writing in her left-wing Il Manifesto newspaper, she said upon her release her kidnappers warned her to be careful 'because there are Americans who don't want you to go back'."

Hah! Those wacky insurgents! As if American soldiers would spray her car with machinegun fire and kill her Italian Secret Service bodyguard! Oh, wait...

Now, for some reason, she thinks that American soldiers were deliberately trying to kill her. Wonder where she got that idea.
