Bush's Orwellian America

Story by Paul Campos at Capitol Hill Blue. Here's a quote:

Bush's executive order, which he has renewed more than 30 times in the past four years, violates the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. The FISA, which was passed by Congress after Richard Nixon used the nation's intelligence services to spy on his political enemies, requires the government to get a warrant from a special court, the FISC, before it can use shadowy organizations such as the National Security Agency to spy on Americans.
So, would that be thirty impeachable offenses, or an impeachable offense for every communication intercepted under this illegal executive order?

At what point do we cry, "Enough!" and render unto Bush the well-deserved legal consequences of his actions? Good Reader, it may be clear to you that my point is long past, but what I'm curious of is - where's yours?

You idiot.

Section 1. Pursuant to section 302(a)(1) of the Act, the
Attorney General is authorized to approve physical searches, without a
court order, to acquire foreign intelligence information for periods of
up to one year, if the Attorney General makes the certifications required by that section.

That means "get a warrant first" for any other semi-illiterate trolls out there. Thank you for playing.

And yeah, if Clinton had been authorising warrantless searches in violation of the fourth amendment, I would have been all too happy to call for his impeachment.

And this exonerates Bush how, exactly?

Yeah, I know you're spam-trolling, but I just wanted to take the opportunity to mock and belittle you. You moron. You addle-pate. You jackaknapes. You knob-slobberer. You twit. You simpleton. You Drudge-reader. You Freeper.

the "clinton did it first" argument grows tiresome. two rights don't make a wrong, and a violation of the 4th amendment is a violation of the 4th amendment. PERIOD.

like you, moody, i wonder... when will the rest of this nation wake up?!?
